OUR PROGRAM
In their efforts to give back to the community, the founders of JOPAWII, who collectively have
over one hundred years of martial arts experience, have implemented this martial arts program as an alternative for at-risk
youth. They believe that unlike other sports programs, such as basketball, football, and baseball, a martial arts program
provides something for everyone, because no one ever sits on the bench. JOPAWII’ s martial arts program follows a strict
youth development philosophy. The focus is to teach leadership skills, goal setting and accomplishment, self-discipline, and
self-confidence.
The program would take place after school, three to four days per week, for a period of four
to six weeks. Upon completion of the program, each student would be awarded for his or her hard work during our awards ceremony.
We plan to service at least thirty to sixty participants ranging between ages 3 and 17
years old, based upon community interest and program funding.
As it is our future goal to offer this program at no cost to program participants but as of
now we are offering a discounted price. We are seeking donations of every kind to subsidize the cost of the program. Should
you have any questions, or if you would like to make a donation you may contact us using the contact us page and an email
will be sent directly to us.
